Clip (s) of the Week - MLB Playoff Edition

Since Syracuse football has sunk into the quick sand of irrelevancy (take a bow Greg Robinson) and since the Chicago Cubs have qualified for the MLB playoffs which begin today, the Clip of the Week honors the last time those lovable losers made it to the post season - 2003. A good friend of the idiots lives in Chicago and is a diehard Cub fan, so this one is for you buddy, here's hoping Steve Bartman doesn't magically reappear - but if he does, Captain Janks will be waiting.

And since I can't help myself, check out this clip of Bartman being escorted out of Wrigley that night - Steve is lucky Jack Ruby was already dead.

Finally, because it USED to be a great rivalry and this is West Virginia week, I feel like I have to put up these two clips, which I think Champ has posted in the past, but are definitely worth checking out again. It makes me yearn for the days of Coach Mac, a gray haired guy, brimming with positivity, who talked in circles to the press - just like G Rob - only he knew how to win football games.

SU -W. Virginia - 1987 - (little Russianator was there in the end zone, opposite corner of where Owens scored, I nearly wet myself)

Don Nehlen crying like a little girl after the infamous 1992 game when Marvin Graves got in a fight on the sideline. F off West Virginia fans, it was a cheap shot that started the whole thing.
