Roadkill and Linc Sausage

I was prepared to write something about the abomination that occured last night in Philadelphia, but I just don't have it in me this morning. Sometimes, you've got to leave it in the hands of the professionals. The only good thing that came out of the Eagles-Cowboys game were the headines today - among my favorites - Linc Sausage and the ever popular These Birds are Road Kill.

I think Rich Hofmann really summed up best where the Eagles are at after eight games this season, calling them a Team in Decline, A Coach in Denial.

In other news around the NFL:

* Adrian Peterson is so good that there's an odd feeling in Minnesota - hope.

* Derek Anderson and the Browns are 5-3 - can't say ANYONE saw that coming. Interesting fact, did you know he threw 57 interceptions in college? I didn't.

* Ocho Cinco is apparently going to be OK, the Bengals however, are not.

* Speaking of which, Dick Jauron is doing an amazing job in Buffalo this year.

* Kellen Clemens was solid yesterday, but the Jets used up all their good luck last year.

* And for all things Colts-Pats, as well as coffee reviews, there's always Peter King.
