Some Champ quick hits:

• Folllowing Axe's lead, rebounding is a huge concern with this team. Getting out rebounded 46-35 to an A10 team leaves this idiot worried.

• I love the onions of frosh Johnny Flynn. A 21/10 effort was for naught (is that a great word or what????). Still need to work on shot selection, but his kid has some fire.

• Welcome to the big time Rick Jackson. Although having Arinze and Rick on the court at the same time made for some interesting offense.

• It's tough to win when your opponent goes 12-18 from 3 point land.

• Donte seemed quiet. We need him to help out on the glass.

• Arinze battles down low. It's nice to have a banger on this team after 4 years of our big men falling down, missing dunks and dribbling the ball off their feet.

• Speaking of missing dunks-- Paul layups are also worth 2 points, just as many as dunks.

• I'm not going to get my drawers in a bunch over that last play of the game. Only 5 seconds left and it's pretty frantic to try and go the length of the floor in that time. Not the best look, but that's what happens when you let a team hang around.

• Let's hope these A10 losses don't bite us in the behind come March.
