Yahoo Sports first reported Cuse WR Taj Smith's intentions to declare for the NFL draft. The local media quickly picked up the story led by Donnie's blog. What's your favorite Taj memory? The 2 TD's against Illinois in 2006 stand out, as does his opening play score against Lousiville this year. A quick aside----someone again tell me how Syracuse managed to win that game?

He was getting into Chris Weinke and Evan Eshmeyer territory in age. Hopefully he'll get over the dropsies and become a productive member of the NFL because if he's gotta go into the real workforce, he's screwed. You ever hear him speak? I've heard the Asian lady in the Brockway dinning hall speak better broken English than him. It's kind of sad. Good luck to him. He always game across as a nice guy when I saw him around on the bus coming back from South campus.
