18-1*

We at T3I couldn't let a good asterick go to waste, so congrats Taperiots on a great season.

All three idiots were expecting a crappy game, and let's be honest for three quarters that's exactly what we got. David Tyree's Superman catch is worthy of all the "CNY in the Superbowl" publicity he's getting today. I actually sat up and yelled "Holy @#$%!" on that grab. That's the true measure of a play's excitement level in my book.

My quick thoughts on SB XLII:

Belly, should have never ditched the grey hoodie. Dance with the girl you brought to the dance.

Somewhere you know Don Shula and his gang from '72 are sitting around drinking champagne and smoking some Cubans.

Someone put Randy Moss's picture on a milk carton.

Coughlin has onions.

Anyone else pulling for Tyree to get the MVP?

The commercials stunk.

When the Pats went for it on 4th down, instead of kicking the FG, that cost ChampWife a square. Boo.

Wes Welker, I'm a believer.

New York over Boston.....finally the universe is coming back into order.

Getting 9 and 5 cost me superbowl squares - I swear next year I'm going to fix the pool.

I had no idea until Sunday that Tom Coughlin was the proud son of Waterloo and a SU grad (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Coughlin). I'm not sure how this happened, but I am slightly embarrassed for allowing this fact to elude me for so many years. However, I am extremely proud that a WNY/CNY native stuck it to those pretentious Boston pr*cks!

On a side note, I'm looking very much forward to hearing Tom Brady's cocky "We're only going to score 17 points? chuckle..ok" Replayed over and over. I hope it makes it on to NFL films 1/2 hour Super Bowl recap so we can relive it for years to come. How have more woman not made a bigger deal out of him being an absentee father who abandoned his child?
