I enjoyed tonight's commentary on Shumpert.
P-Shump was the catalyst of the SU team when I first moved here to Syracuse. Apparently Shump and Ryan Blackwell used to throw their celebrity status all around Armory Square, ie. "Sure I will have a glass of Cognac!"

While Shump was only still at Syracuse my freshman year, it sure provided a lot of drama. Shump is probably the highest player on your list that has, in fact, had his eye poked out.
Shumpert was a big time perimeter scorer. I remember him stepping back further and further as defenders came out on him and stilld draining that three. I think his eye injury definitely cost SU the Big East Title in 2001, and his legacy at SU is tarnished by the garbage from DeSean Williams his senior season.
Shumpert is coming off probably the best year he has had playing overseas. Building a BIG beautiful home, and making some pretty BIG money.......now....WHO is the idiot????????????
Thanks for that comment anonymous, real productive. Last time I checked we didn't say anything bad about Shumpert except that he was a good player at SU....
