"Otis, My Man." Easily my favorite SU player of all time. His time on the Hill coincided with my maturation as a fan and player. I patented my game after his, and became the best 5' 11'' no shot, flat-footed power forward/center combo I could be.

Otis Hill's undressing of Erick Dampier in the national semi-finals is one of my favorite all time memories. Everyone knew Dampier was an NBA quality guy (which he was) and Otis clearly wasn't, and Dampier was supposed to be a ridiculous defender...but Otis looked like Hakim Olajuwon in the post that day. Spinning and wheelin' and dealin', Dampier had no answer. Otis shot like 8 for 10 or something crazy like that, and Dampier was a non-factor. Great stuff. Otis had crazy inside moves for a stocky undersized center.
