Next year the Syracuse basketball team with have two guys named Kris on the squad - it's quite a dilemma, since fan favorite Kristof! the Belgian Waffle Ongenaet was here first, but there's an interesting article in the Daily Orange today about incoming freshman Kris "We haven't thought up a bad nickname for you yet" Joseph.
Joseph is billed as a versatile 6'8" forward - long and lean, a typical Boeheim recruit. While only time will tell if he'll pan out, here are a few things we learned from the story:
* He's originally from Montreal (hopefully he works out better than the last big guy that came from Canada)
* He's the 9th ranked small forward in the country according to scout.com (and they'd never get anything wrong)
* He has a brother named Maurice (insert Steve Miller Band sound effect here)
* And he needs to work on his defense (he's not alone in that category)
