It's easy to take shots at the mainstream media. While we do rely on them for the vast majority of our sports news, I've got no problem ripping them for something that's dumb or patently false. However, it is important to give credit where credit is due, so I'd like to give a golf clap to Sports Illustrated for the headline on their story today regarding Donovan McNabb. Just ask the guys at the Sport Hump, you can never go wrong with a mustache reference.
Personally I love clever/obnoxious/ridiculous headlines - and for that, nothing beats the NY Post. In my next life, I'm coming back as a headline writer for them - for some other great tabloid headlines, click here.
And for what it's worth, the Eagles would be nuts to trade McNabb, he's got a huge season in him this year, you can take that to the bank.
