Monday Morning Reading

While you’re getting those TPS reports for the week ready, here are a few things you might find interesting. There are reports from this blogger that 2003 Kansas National Champions t-shirts have been spotted in Zanzibar, probably right next to some New England Patriots 19-0 shirts. Speaking of SU basketball, Orange Ray presents a very detailed proposal on Syracuse basketball scheduling. It’s definitely worth a read and should provoke some good discussion.

And while we crack on Greg Robinson all the time – due to his abysmal results on the field – the SU football team is doing good things in the community – so kudos to that.

In baseball news, Willie Randolph seems to have righted the Mets ship (at least for this week) as the Mets took 3 out of 4 from the Dodgers. There’s no truth to the rumor that when asked, Joe Torre said picking his nose in New York is more enjoyable than picking his nose in LA.

Of course, the Mets would be in even better shape if they had Chase Utley on their team, the guy is amazing. In fact, he's so amazing, Phillies fans are too distracted to complain much about Pat Burrell. In Yankee land, Darrell Rasner struggled and didn’t get much help from his offense as they lost to the Twins.

And sadly, the pitcher for the Bad News Bears didn’t listen to Whitney Houston, because if she did, she’d know crack is whack.
