Friday Reading

Ahhhhh Friday, the day of the week we've all been waiting for.....happy hour isn't that far away and before you know it, you'll be working through that Saturday morning hangover. We are also little over one week away from the start of college football season, make sure you order your shirts. Now let's get to the links.

Syracuse defensive lineman Jared Kimmel is back and ready to make an impact. Plus he can pose real well too.

Doug Houge is confident and the players will soon get a day off.

Greg Robinson, one of 11 coaches that need to win. Too bad he doesn't know what wins and losses are.

Here is a rundown of changes to the college football rules, plus the obligatory Robinson on the hot seat reference.

Here are 10 reasons Syracuse will be better this year (they couldn't get much worse).

In basketball news, here's a look at the prospects on the AAU team sponsored by Carmelo.

Syracuse recruit Dion Waiters will hit Rucker Park next week.

The Yankees lost a squeaker last night to the Blue Jays, all they needed to tie the game up was a touchdown, 2 point conversion and a field goal. Speaking of things that make me angry, here's a story about the return of Carl Pavano.

Meanwhile, the Mets won again.

Here's a story on the legacy of Gene Upshaw.

Here are some slideshow's of NFL cheerleaders in Maxim - you're welcome.

More Maxim - here's an interview with Chris Cooley. If this guy was an Eagle he'd be my favorite person on the planet.

Via the Big Lead, Michael Phelps is putting that fame to good use. Here is a picture of her.

Things are a little rough for everyone's favorite steriod user Shawne Merriman.

Tim Tebow has the greatest fans in the world.

And I'll leave you with the return of Kenny - I've got to get him one of our farwell tour shirts.
