Wednesday Reading

As we inch closer to the end of the week and the start of the football season, here's some advice for current and future politicians out there, don't bang interns, but if you do, it's best not to put evidence in writing.....You'd think people would be smart enough to figure that out. In terms of the paper on the left, whenever I see a newspaper with the word MILF raid on the cover, I'm running it, now lets get to some links.

Today the Syracuse Post Standard brings us information on the battle to start at cornerback, practice notes from yesterday, and an audio slideshow of fan fest, featuring an overly dramatic Dave Rahme, enjoy.

The Daily Orange has practice notes as well, written by a a guy named John Clayton. Since everyone loves John Clayton of ESPN, its good to see another is already in the pipeline, because a world without John Clayton is not a world I'm prepared to live in.

Syracuse will get 12.5 points versus Northwestern and according to Real Football 365, the game is one of 10 that really matter in the Big East this year.

The ups and downs of the Syracuse running backs.

Kansas gets to see the Express first - that makes sense how?

According to PennLive.com Temple will be a tougher game for the Nittany Lions than SU.

In basketball news, here's another Olympic basketball story featuring Carmelo and Coach Boeheim.

Three SU hoop players will not appeal the probation sentence meted out at the Syracuse University Judicial review.

In baseball news, the Yankees lost again. Speaking of lost and Yankees - remember Hideki Irabu? He's run into a little legal trouble.

Joe Paterno is creepy - I agree.

More cultural insensitivity at the Olympics.

And I'll leave you with this, Lindsay Lohan likes Michael Phelps - Mike's mom, she's not a fan.

I fail to see how thw SU vs. NWU game is the #1 game to look at in the big east. i always look forward to a middle of the pack D-1 school playing a bottom of the barel D-1 school early in the season. Its not like if they win vs. NWU and loose the rest, G ROB is safe????

In case the rest of the idiots are still interested, My NCAA Wii dynasty finished its first season with the SU Orange ( #22 ) beating FSU ( #18 ) 38-30 My reciever, #11, ( wink, wink ) had 3 td's and a punt ret for a td. Wouldnt it be nice to have that guy around this year.
