Another week has passed and since it's fall, it means the SU football team has absorbed another week of Greg Robinson's teachings......you've been warned. Let's see what's happening.
The premier of the Express is tonight - the Sport Hump's Poncho Sinatra reports he sat next to Charles S. Dutton (aka) Roc on a plane to Syracuse yesterday, he was heading into town for the big event. Other special guests have arrived as well. Syracuse.com has your complete guide to the event.
One other note on this - Donnie Webb reported yesterday that he's heard some folks plan to protest the state of the football program at the premier. I have a message for those people - you are f*cking morons. The event is about honoring a legend and has NOTHING to do with the current state of the program - NOTHING. We understand the frustration with the current state of the program, but protesting a movie premier is absurd. You want to stand outside the dome and protest on Saturday - fine. You want to boo inside the dome on Saturday - not my cup of tea, but whatever. You want to start a blog or wear this t-shirt, more power to you, but leave the premier alone. Ernie Davis did more in his 23 years on the planet then you ever will, so let's keep the event classy and honor the man's memory. Oh, and if you do disagree with me, go f*ck yourself. Rant over.
The Post Standard has complete coverage of the game here. In one of the stories, Dave Rahme says the players have to master the coaches' scheme. Guess what, even if they master it, the scheme doesn't work, especially against the spread. We talked about this in our season preview.
The Axeman says the premier of the Express is a needed distraction from the current state of the program - you got that right my friend.
Nittany Ramblings previews the game here. My favorite part of the preview - "Greg Robinson is not exactly what you would call a fan favorite."
How bad does Syracuse suck? Word has traveled all the way to Hawaii, where the Honolulu Advertiser says SU is the runaway leader for the worst team in college football. To be fair, it's a reprint of an LA Times story, but the point remains the same.
The Orange Report previews the game.
Could there be more Penn State fans than SU fans in the building on Saturday? Maybe - we openly wondered about this some time ago.
Shockingly, recruiting at SU isn't going well - bonus points for use of the Cartman photo.
Matt Hayes of the creepy head shot and the sporting news say Greg is feeling the heat.
Here's a prediction on the game - we'll have ours up later. The picture of the fat kid made me laugh.
You know what sucks, there's a head football coach in this country named Greg Robinson, and that guy is off to a strong start. It's clear the wrong Greg Robinson was hired in Syracuse.
In other Big East news, Rutgers has decided to return to being Rutgers, as they got their asses kicked by North Carolina last night. Pete Thamel says maybe Greg was right last year. In a world gone mad, at least Rutgers has decided to return to sucking - so at least one thing is normal.
In basketball news, Mike Waters has dates for Syracuse games in the college basketball experience.
If anyone out there schedules college basketball teams and is looking for an opponent, give Rob Edson a call.
Let's observe a moment of silence for Tom Brady.
Charlie Weiss does not like Dana Jacobsen. I don't like either of them. Here's hoping Michigan puts a beating on them - although both teams are pretty bad this year.
Tony Kornheiser's car may have been stolen by a stalker.
And I'll leave you with this, if you're looking to score some premo nose candy, head to your local rectory.

I agree. Why would you protest at "The Express"? Don't tarnish a night that is supposed to be about one of the legends of college football because the program is in ruins. Just idiotic.
I've heard about that problem with the priests. A lot of families have come through with lawsuits over that. Ruins kids' lives.
Oh! It says the priest was giving them "coke." Ohhh, oh. Yeah that's a new one.
