Well the last time I participated in something like this was the Cuse Country NIT Bracket challenge where I managed to get almost every game wrong, yet still correctly predicted the winner. It was such an odd performance the fine gentlemen over there managed to give me a prize, which I still have. The lesson, I'm so incompetent that the chance of something interesting happening is high.
