*I love watching videos from 1980-82. They weren't quite sure what to do with the new concept of the music video yet.
*All in all, this was a fun year for music. Not a lot of classics in there, but 4-5 songs you never turn off when they come up on the radio.
"Centerfold", "I love Rock and Roll", "Jack and Diane", all fit that category.
*Part of the appeal of 80's music is those cheesy songs you love to sing along with that bring a smile to your face. "Mickey", "Who can it be now?" and "Don't you want me baby" all fit that category.
*"Eye of the Tiger!" Come on, classic!
*Because it's in your head now..."don't you want me..OHHHH!!!"
*Hall and Oates had two # 1 hits? Every year has questionable choices.
*"Ebony and Ivory" was # 1 for 7 freaking weeks? Really?
*Abracadabra? Wow...Steve Miller Band. Wow. Awful.
